Grand Pioneers offers a range of suites from the 30 m² Ocean Suite to exceptionally large premium suites such as the 350 m² Owner's Suite aboard Grand Pioneers I and the 109 m² President's Suite aboard Grand Pioneers II. Both ships also share several cabin categories, including Ocean Balcony, Veranda, Executive and Essence Suites.
Choosing between the two ships therefore matters most at the premium end of the cabin range: Grand Pioneers I is the ship with the Owner's Suite and Oceania Suite, while Grand Pioneers II has the President's, Signature and Pearl Suites.

Deposit & Payment:
- A deposit of 30% of the tour price per person by credit card or bank transfer plus bank charges is required upon confirmation of your booking (if this amount is less than US$ 500, the full payment will be applied).
- The balance will be paid 15 days prior to the check in date, or you can pay us upon arrival in cash or credit card when we meet in Hanoi.
- Deposit or full payment could be settled via our secured online payment system (SSL).
Cancellation & Refund:
• Any changes/ amendments to an existing booking shall be considered as a cancellation and a new booking shall be made. Penalty charges shall apply accordingly, based on the charge for each cancelled cabin as per the following percentages:
- Less than 6 cabins:
+ More than 30 days prior to the arrival: No charge.
+ From 30 to 16 days prior to the arrival: 10% of each cancelled cabins charged.
+ From 15 to 6 days prior to the arrival: 30% of each cancelled cabins charged.
+ Less than 6 days prior to the arrival: 100% of the total rate charged.
+ No-Show: Will be charged in full.
- From 6 cabins and more:
+ More than 30 days prior to the arrival: No charge.
+ From 30 to 16 days prior to the arrival: 30% of each cancelled cabins charged.
+ From 15 to 6 days prior to the arrival: 50% of each cancelled cabins charged.
+ Less than 6 days prior to the arrival: 100% of the total rate charged.

• Cancellation must be sent to and confirmed by Vietnam Travel's cruise specialist in writing (by email or fax).
Child Policy (to be confirmed upon reservation and subject to availability):
- Free of charge for one child below the age of 5 years traveling with two adults, sharing bed with two adults. Limited one child per cabin only.
- Children from 5 to below 12 years of age sharing a cabin with two adults on one bed are charged at 50% of adult rate, limited to one child per cabin only.
- Two children below 12 years sharing a private cabin are charged at 75% of the full cabin rate. Child from the age of 12 must occupy a separate cabin and pay the full cabin rate.
Extra Bed Policy:
The surcharge is 75% of one person rate for 1 extra bed. Limited to one extra bed per cabin only.
Other Policies:
- Check-in time starts at 12:00 PM. Check-out by 10:30 AM.
- Charges for extra guests may apply and vary according to property policy.
- Advance registration is required with full name, date of birth, nationality, gender, passport number and visa expiry date for all passengers. A valid passport is required upon check-in. Otherwise, boarding may be denied by the port authority.
- A cash deposit, credit card or debit card for incidental charges and government-issued photo identification/ passport are required upon check-in.
- Special requests are subject to availability at the time of check-in. Special requests can't be guaranteed and may incur additional charges.
- Promotion or Early Bird comes with tight booking conditions and they will be notified separately by Vietnam Travel.
