Peony Cruise

Day 1: Hanoi – Tuan Chau Marina – Halong Bay – Lan Ha Bay.

Leave Hanoi at 9:00 AM if you opt for a private transfer or between 8:30 AM and 9:00 AM for the shuttle bus, arriving at Tuan Chau Marina around 11:30 AM (transportation service upon your request).
12:30: You will be taken aboard a support vessel and travel from the wharf through the bay to board the luxurious Peony Cruise. During this time, the itinerary briefing will be announced.
13:00: Welcome fresh drinks, wet towels, and a special lunch of fresh food and an assortment of delicacies will be served. You will be enchanted when decadently dining on the junk. Enjoy the luncheon of fresh seafood and an assortment of delicacies while cruising along Lan Ha Bay with the breathtaking scenery.
15:30: Visit the Tra Bau area, known for its unspoiled, poetic natural beauty and attractive seascape of Lan Ha Bay. This is the best time for kayaking to discover the truest beauty of the limestone islands. Immerse yourself in the emerald green water of the bay or enjoy the Jacuzzi pool on Peony Cruises.
17:30 – 18:30: Join a cooking demonstration to learn how to make one of the most famous Vietnamese cuisines, spring rolls. Or reach the top deck of the cruise where you can admire the magnificent sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin. Enjoy Happy Hour – Buy one get one free at the bar. It is an ideal time for photography enthusiasts to capture the greatest sunset moment over Lan Ha Bay.
19:30: Enjoy local food prepared and served by the skillful chef. This is a delightful meal in an intimate romantic setting.
21:00 – 22:00: Relax and sip exotic cocktails and drinks at the sky bar (with a surcharge). Indulge yourself with a spa service (optional) or simply relax under the cover of a brightly illuminated sky on the top deck. Or try your luck at squid fishing on the main deck.

Day 2: Lan Ha Bay – Cat Ba Island – Hanoi.

06:00: Begin the day full of energy with the Tai Chi session and enjoy the sun just rising beyond the horizon.
06:45 – 07:15: Breakfast is served while cruising back to Gia Luan jetty. (Breakfast time may be adjusted according to the real itinerary)
07:30 – 09:00: Join the tour of Cat Ba World Biosphere by transshipment. It takes 30 minutes to transfer from Gia Luan to Trung Trang – one of the most impressive caves on Cat Ba island, Vietnam. The limestone cave has thousands of stalactites in various shapes, offering geological values with a typical cave ecosystem.
09:30: Return to the main boat from the cave and do the cabin check-out. Luggage is placed outside of the cabin.
10:00: Lunch is served at the restaurant. Settle the bar bill at the desk in the restaurant (if any).
10:30 – 11:00: Disembark the Peony Cruises and transfer back to Block 34, Big Bay group terminal, Tuan Chau Marina. Relax and wait for the luggage.
11:30 – 12:00: Back to Tuan Chau Marina.
Meet your driver for a transfer back to Hanoi or another destination if transportation arrangements have been made.

Day 2: Lan Ha Bay – Viet Hai Village – Cat Ba Island.

06:00: Begin the day full of energy with the Tai Chi session and enjoy the sunrise over the bay.
06:45 – 07:15: Breakfast is served at the restaurant.
08:00 – 08:30: You are transferred to a day trip boat and set sail further into Lan Ha Bay, cruising along the peaceful and quiet nature of the bay. Alternatively, you can relax on the cruise if you prefer not to join the day trip.
10:30 – 11:00: After reaching Viet Hai jetty, you will experience cycling or riding an e-cart to Viet Hai village through the tropical rainforest canopy and towering limestone mountains. Learn about the villagers’ daily life and how they built and lived in bamboo thatched houses with earthen walls made of straw and mud covered with trellis, forming walls to block rain and wind.
12:15 – 13:30: Return to the day trip boat and enjoy lunch at the restaurant while cruising to the kayaking and swimming spot.
13:30: Explore the secluded and quiet lagoon by kayak or enjoy a swim off the boat.
16:30: Head back to the Peony Cruises to relax. Soak in the Jacuzzi mini pool, enjoy the music, and your favorite drinks by the pool.
17:30 – 18:30: Enjoy “happy hour” on the deck with a buy-one-get-one-free offer. Watch the sunset over the bay. Attend a cooking demonstration to learn how to make different types of Vietnamese spring rolls.
19:30: Dinner is served at the Peony Cruises restaurant.
21:00 – 22:00: Enjoy the nightlife of the bay from the deck. Immerse yourself in music and taste some cocktails at the bar. Alternatively, go squid fishing with the sailors or simply relax in your room and watch Halong Bay from the balcony.

Day 3: Lan Ha Bay – Cat Ba Island – Hanoi.
